Company ProfileHansen Machinery and Metal Works, Inc. was started back in 1995, by Stephen A. Hansen, and dealt mainly in ornamental and machinery parts. Over the years we have grown into a Structural Steel based business. Most of our projects are commercial and residential steel. We have done retail buildings, medical buildings, and other corporate buildings. We have also done custom homes on the coast and the Salem area. Over the years we have also put together a great team of welders. Our welders are AWS certified, with years of experience under their hoods.
We are members of both Marion and Polk county Home builders associations and SEDCOR (Strategic Economic Development Corporation). SEDCOR is a non-profit organization, working with small businesses, to bring economic growth to Marion and Polk counties. In the last decade SEDCOR has brought 5,000 jobs to Marion/Polk counties and $1 billion in investments to the area.
